@justbig That's what I thought. I remember an interview with Jason Lezak citing similar reasoning.

@crowdemw That is a training fallacy. When Ryan pushes off the wall his knees go past his toes. He is very strong in that position has no knee problems from squatting.

Why does he stop just shy of parallel on those squats? Not saying it's better or worse than going past parallel, just wondering.

@benskutnik We train to a variety of depths when he squats. He needs to be strong at several different joint angles.

@happygilmore749 He did 6 rounds of both circuits. We only showed 1 round of each. He had 1 min of rest between each round.
