Tried out a new filming angle, makes the fader clicks really loud, though. Let me know what you all think.

This is a video of two of my scratches, each is a two click combo.

First: the Defibrillator scratch. To do this scratch, you need to be able to do original flares and two click orbits. This is a two click combo based off the one click combo the yumper cable. Yumpers are chirp, one-click forward, slice (reverse chirp), reverse one-click. The Defibrillator just adds a fader click to every motion. First, original flare, then a two-click forward, then a reverse original flare, then a reverse two click. This makes 12 sounds, where as the yumper cable is 8.

Next, the beam spreader scratch. Based off the prism, but instead of tears, you perform this scratch with lasers (knowing prisms before learning this scratch is sort of important). I start my prisms 2f/1b then 1f/2b, so I start my beam spreaders the same way. Two lasers forward, one laser back, one laser forward, then two lasers back. Click the fader to cut out the spaces between the lasers, just like you do between the tears with prisms. 6 notes, just like prisms. I know it sounds a little sloppy, but I really wanted to share this scratch. If you guys want to see something specific, like me breaking these down even farther, or if you have any questions, shoot me a message, I'll be happy to get back to you :) Let me know what you guys think!

  • shite just like u dj name u wana be

  • @crossycrossfield Aw, muffin.

  • your "beam spreader scratch" has already been done by RAFIK but he does the AUTOBAHN SCRATCH and its the same concept just watch some of his vids... but mad props bro for innovading the dj's!

  • @itimmy101 Hey dude! Thanks for checking the vid out. So, to address your comment, even when Rafik (who is fucking awesome) uses a laser under his fast autobahns, it's a different pattern. Since I use two lasers separated with a fader click (to mimic the prism pattern) instead of cutting one forward laser with a fader click (like Rafik does in his fast autobahns), it has a different sound.

Also, the autobahn is 9 notes, but beam spreaders are 6 notes. Thanks for the props! Keep watching :)

  • angle is better, but you might wanna adjust the sound. its hard to heard, sounds muffled at times.

  • @Devestato72 Cool, thanks for the feedback! The other angle, the camera was literally standing on my speaker, so I'll turn it up more so you can hear it better.

  • @BlazerRepo Close. It's 9 notes, which is why it is so damn confusing for most people. It helps to break it down into three chunks of three notes.

  • Great jod on your new scratch bro.

Hope to see more in the future.

  • @djcurrency689 i didn't count the notes it was djrocktopus...

  • @DjRocktopus Ur sick with it bro. I wana hear tha beam after u freshen it up.

  • @itimmy101 Ur a fuckin smart ass. Can u not count notes? Poser

  • @DjRocktopus I believe autobauns are 8 notes. slice to two forward stabs, let go, two forward stabs to a reverse one click. 8 notes. I could be wrong but thats what I got out of q's last autobaun vid.

  • Nice!!!
