Masters: Deeply Rooted Dance Theater of Chicago comes to Crooked Tree

Deeply Rooted Dance Theater of Chicago hosted a master class for Crooked Tree Arts Centers pre-professional ballet students on Sunday, March 7. The master class also served as Michigan's only audition for the Deeply Rooted Summer Dance Intensive Artistic director, Kevin Iega Jeff conducted the class. Joining him were Associate Artistic Director, Gary Abbott and Dance Education Director, Kathleen Turner.

hmm, this "dude" is one of the most spiritual, true, honest, down to earth people i know. if you had the blessing of meeting him, you would feel really stupid for even taking the time to type that comment. if you knew anything about dance...you would know that he is teaching them a modern dance warm up created by lester horton, it is done all over the world and very respected. it strengthens a dancers body in the way of ballet but in a modern based technique and it is not easy...
