Heather's POV:
Oh my god! Oh my god! What just happened? Did I just kiss him? Why? Oh my god, he probably thinks I'm a big freak!I sat in my car for a minute in his driveway then put it in drive and headed down the street, towards home. OH MY GOD I KISSED HIM, and my heart skipped a beat but I never felt as amazing.
Kevin's POV:
A few minutes after I left Nick's room I heard someone run down the step and out the front door.
Grace-- Who was that?
Kevin-- I think it was Heather.
Then Nick walked into the kitchen looking dazed.
Joe-- Hello? Are you alright?
Nick-- Uh, sure. Whats for lunch?
Grace-- I thaught Kevin to cook. There is homemade pizza in the fridge.
Nick-- Thanks.
He went to the fridge grabbed a slice of pizza and then a plate from the cabinet and left the room without another word.
Joe-- What was that?
Kevin-- As if I can figure out his teenage mood swings.
Joe-- Psh. I gotta go.
He got up, and left through the front door.
Kevin-- Where--
Grace-- Date with Britt.
Kevin-- Well, Nick seems like he will be upstairs for a while and Joe is gone...
Grace-- Really.
I took her hand and lead her into the living room. We laid on the couch, and she kissed me, and I kissed her back.
Nick's POV:
What just happened. I laid on my bed, my slice of pizza on the nightstand. I just needed a reason to move from the door way. I can't believe I kissed Heather. She is one of my best friends, and we kissed. It just wasn't a kiss...it may have been something more. I decided now was the best time to call Jason. I dailed his number and he answered four rings later.
Jason-- What!?
Nick-- I want to talk to you and promise you won't hang up.
Jason-- Fine I promise.
Nick-- I'm sorry.
Jason-- Why did Ray dump you? Do you need friends now?
Nick-- NO! I need to be friends with you!
Jason-- Dramatic?
Nick-- Sorry.
Jason-- I guess I over reacted.
Nick-- Maybe.
Jason-- Please I am starting to forgive you.
Nick-- Okay sorry again.
Jason-- Is alright. I guess I was never really mad at you in the first place.
Nick-- But I have to tell you, I am kinda dating Ray.
He took a deep breath.
Jason-- Fine date who you want.
Nick-- Really?
Jason-- Yeah. Just no more lying?
Nick-- Yeah no more lies.
Jason-- Good.
he sighed.
Jason-- Want to hang out I have been pretty bored.
Nick-- Well, I'm pretty uh...busy.
Jason-- Alright I trust you. Oh well I guess I'll call Heather.
Nick-- On second thought why don't you come over.
Jason-- You sure?
Nick-- Yeah see you in a few minutes.
I hung up. I couldn't let him talk to Heather. She would have told him and I would rather he find out from me than anyone her. Even if I was risking my health. I walked downstairs to tell Kevin that Jason was coming over. I walked into the living room and apparently they didn't realize I was there. So they continued to make out on the couch.
Nick-- Remind me never to sit on the couch again.
Kevin-- IT'S CALLED PRIVACY!
I laughed.
Nick-- It's called your own room dude.
Kevin-- I swear...
Nick-- I know. Jason is coming over.
Kevin-- Fine fine. Sure sure. Just leave me alone.
Nick-- Fine continue.
I laughed and left the room.
Kevin's POV:
Kevin-- Sorry my brothers are so...
Grace-- It's fine. Ya know, you do have a room.
Kevin-- True.
I smiled and took her hand and led her upstairs to my room.
Nick's POV:
I few minutes later Jason was here. I walked to the door and opened he was standing there in tee shirt and jeans.
Jason-- Sup.
Nick-- Uh, hey.
He walked in.
Nick-- So want to hang out in my basement, I have PS3 drum set and a pool table?
Jason-- Sure.
I knew I had to tell him about Heather and at least if it was in the basement I could have a pool stick to protect myself.
