Chelsea flower show 2005. Chelsea military pensioners had a garden reflective of what a soldier would like to see upon coming home. I shot video and set to music

@rmccubb Very touching. Imagine all the soldier in the war who would have dreamed of a safe place to rest and renew. The pressures of war and the ugliness tears at the soul and destroys the person if they cannot look forward to an end. War must become a thing of the past, and killing and destroying home only a memory of something that was and is no more. Oh, but for this to be now.

Thank you for viewing my video. I am so glad you enjoyed it. The Ecover Chelsea Pensioners' Garden, by the Julian Dowle Partnership. This was the last year that Julian would design a garden for the Chelsea flower show. He met with the Chelsea pensioners and asked them what they envisioned as 'home' when they were away to war and what they would like to return to upon the end of hostilities. Cheers ... Robin
