Ankle surgery

I broke my ankle 3 months ago and now it's time to take some of the screws out. I've got 8 more remaining in there for about an year.

@keishuna13 yeah, as a matter of fact about 3 weeks ago i had all my screws removed, and now i'm all healed and it's all good, except for some swelling i have abosolutely no problems, not even weather related pains or fatigue. I'm back to normal :D

i had a anckle Fx. last oct 13th, now im about to have a surgery to get a long screew out, did u get geneeral anestesia? or just local? does it hurts again??? how long after fracture, u got ur anckle inflamated? nice video!

For the big surgery, where they had to put the screws into me, they only gave me local anestesia, but for the one where they took the long screw out, they gave me total. If I'll have time this month, I'm going to take out the rest of the screws.

Yes, it did inflamate after an hour or so, but it didn't hurt for about 2-3 hours.

LOL after this ankle heals I am trying my hardest to never break a bone again. It's been a week so far since I broke it and just had surgey yesterday but man am I in pain. Anyone take Oxy's while recovering? i'm on the 5mg but they don't seem to be helping much

this happened to me i broke my ankle at school and had to have surgery but the stuff they used to knock me out really did knock me out i woke up what felt like 5 mins later and they were done lol

What? You mean you have to have them removed? My doctor put nine screws in my distol fibula, and he never mentioned about getting them removed! Wait til I have a word with my Doc!

I broke my ankle in May, still have my plate and screws in. Trying to start waling in the walking boot. If anyone is in the same situation I'd love to know how you are doing- it's hard for me to even try.
