The commentary is a bit weird but i really like the format. It's to bad that chess probably wouldn't get high enough ratings to be deserving of airtime.

The crowd was a BUZZ!
You know, you would think that they would have gone for the more subdued style of commentary, like the format used in golf. But instead, they go for the more obnoxious, in your face style, jocular approach. Plus you know these broadcasting hacks are probably not even stewards of the game either.
