This is a ridiculous debate. Anyone that truly understands tango wishes that was there to witness this live. It's amazing. I'm sad I wasn't dancing by then and at that beautiful location that day to appreciate this.

well obviously Ricardo didn't care and i would imagine he didn't regard dancing with him as an honour. it takes two to tango.

Ricardo's dancing with her because he's being paid, you idiot.. The guy has to make a living.

with your logic, since he was indeed paid, and so there was no honor involved. She can wear whatever she wants.

alternatively if he thought dancing with someone not wearing tango shoes is an insult and yet he did that for money then he was then not that honorable and thus again no honor involved in dancing with him.

Funny. By highlighting a trivial point on shoes and saying he is paid, you are the one making this Legend of Tango unhonorable. And you call yourself TangoLover? LOL.

Not very bright, are you marzac? Ok, an example even you can understand. Suppose, because of your good deeds, you're invited to meet the President. Wouldn't you consider that to be an honour, despite the fact that Obama's just doing his job, for which he's being paid?

And, when you go to the White House, I'm sure you'd polish you shoes - or would you just turn up in shorts and sandals?

Your analogy is intrinsically flawed. And obviously you have not done anything of importance nor been invited to meet anyone important.

If I have done something significant enough to be invited to meet the President, it would be an honor for him to meet me as well. If my good deeds involve shorts and sandals, then i will meet him in shorts and sandals. After all, he is there to meet me, not to meet my tie and suits. It would be a mutual honor just to meet each other.

You have already called me an idiot twice and not very bright once. And obviously from your lack of understanding of how important people think you are not one of us, nor never will be. BS? funny you said that. Just showing how shallow you are. As i said obviously you have never done anything of significance nor you have met anyone important.
So long. I would not call you an idiot because I don't believe in insulting another person. Only trivial people do that.

Anyway dancing in flat heels and wearing shorts and sandals are completely different things. Wearing shorts and sandals to a formal meeting may be considered a lack of respect in certain circumstance, while since when dancing in flat heels is an insult to another person?
Comparing dancing with Vidort as meeting the President is just funny. Dancing tango is informal, has a personal and emotional component in it, while meeting the President is, meeting the President.

and comparing Vidort to Obama? You are really elevating Vidort too much and demeaning to Obama. It seems like you are someone who get his priorities wrong and will not get anything achieved in life.
