  • PLEASE dont give up! I did an exchange program for about a year and a half, I was the only english speaker and I lived alone! Learn the name of the stop you need....If you get confused you can always ask the next bus driver by just saying the stop name...they get it. Also, public buses are what a lot of students use to get around.....or maybe a bike would be a good option? I used to ride my bike to school...taking the train it would take about 30 min, by bike it was about 45-50 minutes.

  • Dude don't worry. You really need to study a lot more. This is why I'm finishing studying for 3 years before going to Japan. But seriously, you can't just give up. It's ok to be scared. You'll be fine.
