Tyrian Boss: Javi's Dreadnaught

A little nostalgia here. One of my favourite bosses from Tyrian. This is the game that got me into loving vertical STGs in the first place over 10 years ago.

Stage: Fleet; Dread-Not
Difficulty: Lord of the game (Press L+O+R+D in Difficulty screen after unlocking Impossible and Suicide Modes)
Ship: Custom Build Early Version Kamui Ship: Low armor, Medium Shield, high energy generator
Weapons:
Front: Power 7 Lightning Cannon
Rear: N/A
Sidekick: 1x Companion ship Quicksilver
Special Weapon: Minefield (I thought about using SDF Maingun here but it's a little too powerful and would make things a bit too easy)

How is your ship firing both the storm of microbombs and that Soul of Zinglon beam? As far as I remember, you can only use one of those special weapons at a time.

@TheBigL1 The special weapon is called Minefield (it's in the description). It has the effect of both Soul of Zinglon and storm of microbombs.

that's kamui prototype! A ship used in the early demos.

Yep, You also face the same model ships right before stage 4 boss in Kamui if I remember correct.

Hmm. Actually the default ship you get in Kamui is the prototype. When you play with this ship the title screen says '量産機使用可能' which means 'mass produced craft available'.

My bad, didn't realize this ship was playable in the final version as well.
