Barrage Of Kassam Rockets Continue to Assault Sderot, Negev

A Palestinian faction alligned with Hamas fired ten Kassam rockets into Israel from Gaza Wednesday morning. That comes just one day after firing more than forty rockets and mortar shells into the Jewish State. Several rockets fell in Sderot, while others fell in open areas surrounding Gaza. The blasts injured nine people in Sderot, including a 5-year-old girl and her mother. Most of the injured were treated for shock and schrapnel wounds. One rocket struck a power grid near Sderot, leaving the town in darkness for much of the night.01/16/08
