I gotta make that YT monayyy. Because I get paid for this.
Also, I like torturing minorities in my basement.

Welcome to this rather unique LP of Pokemon Blue! I'll be playing through with NO Pokemon Center heals, no Mom heals, no Missingno glitch, no Lavender Tower enchanted zone, no Saffron building bed, no nothing to heal myself. I've never seen it done before, and I couldn't find any Let's Plays of a similar type uploaded anywhere. I think this is a challenge most people just pass off as being not possible without really considering how they would go about it.

With a little thought, lots of discipline, and a decent plan, anyone can make it safely through the entire campaign without the use of any kind of healing center. This LP showcases how I went about things, but this certainly isn't the best or only way.

******************************

After stumbling through Mt. Moon, I need to catch some new guys. PP is low on Malk, and I've got another large gauntlet to fight through. It's about to get dicey, and this is easily one of the hardest parts of the game.

Gary is waiting to troll me on the ol' Bridge before I can even GET to the trainers, and he's going to be tough. I make a mistake and try to get through him with out anything super effective against his most powerful and threatening Pokemon, Bulbasaur.

Things are quickly against me, as something I expect to be there, isn't. The fight goes downhill from there, and I'm one turn away from whiting out. To make matters worse, PP is running low, and I need to try to save as much as I can for later. It's a fine balancing act, and one I need to pull off.

  • @fazelol Not in this gen, and I actually never use em again regardless.

  • What happens when you die? I mean when all your Pokes faint, they get automatically healed right?

  • @chanyingxu Then thats game over, I lose.

  • why don't you just go to the pokemon center after big fights?

  • @vennor128 How would that be challenging?
