Each year, Buckingham Palace opens its doors to bring in school children to experience a themed day, including a reception with the Queen. In 2007, it was Poetry Day at the Palace, involving nearly 200 secondary school children in London. The Poetry Society arranged for 14 established poets (including Roger McGough and the then Poet Laureate, Andrew Motion) and 14 young up and coming poets to deliver poetry workshops and performances in which the school children participated, before meeting and sharing canapes with the Queen herself!
I liked it very much! Tha Queen as always very gracious!
Thank you for the Video.
