Elvis Presley It Hurts Me
Written by Joy Byers and Charlie Daniels, although many records only credit Byers. Elvis recorded it January 12, 1964 at RCAs Nashville studios. The single release reached #29 on Billboards Hot 100 chart during its 7-week stay. Elvis recorded it again for the Guitar Man segment of his 1968 TV Special Elvis but the song was omitted. It was the B-side to Kissin Cousins, and is available on Elvis Gold Records, Elvis: The Other Sides-Worldwide Gold Award Hits, From Nashville to Memphis-The Essential 60s Msters, The Very Best of Love, The 50 Greatest Love Songs, The Lost Album, Heart and Soul, and Artist of the Century.
