@PoochMount18 it is indeed a matter of opinion but to say hes a better actor than daniel day lewis is like....whoa man. Im a fan of Rourke and its awesome that hes coming back in such a big way and good directors want him for their movies but could mickey rourke have played the lead in Last of the Mohicans? better yet, could he have played Daniel Plainview adn if so dont you think the movie would have sucked?

@PoochMount18 I can't see how anyone would think that Mickey Rourke is a better actor that Daniel Day Lewis. I like Mickey Rourke as an actor but Day Lewis's performances in "My Left Foot" and "There will be blood" are acting masterpieces they are better than the best of Marlon Brando, Seán Penn or anyone else you'd care to mention. If you need any convincing of this look at this vid "The Butcher Vs the Oilman" and then look at any interview of DDL.
