do i have to plug all my phone cables into that system or can i plug the unit into my main phone reciever box that all the jacks in my house are connected to? If i can does it make it so the phone jacks in the house are connected to the system without having to wire every single phone into the "Brain" of the system?

I know much about this system and the programing if you need to program a feature to a key press feature *3 then it will say press a button the press the button and press feature then the code and then it is programed! This is a great system!

I wanted to see how he was gonna program features within the Norstar system... or are they already set with permanent feature codes?
Unfortunately, the only experience I've had with these is throwing them in the trash... woulda liked to see the programming.
I'll let you in on a little secret. You should never use bridging clips for ANY digital sets! They will oxidize over time and cause a multitude of squirrely little problems. They're great for CO lines but even the Nortel manuals will tell you not to use them on Nortel digital sets on ANY Nortel system! Always use jumper wire instead unless you're just trying to generate future service calls. Btw, 6/16's make great door stops but y bother with them when u can buy a used CICS for 100 bucks or two?
