This is the "self-taped" audition for Disney's remake/adaptation of The Beatles Yellow Submarine (currently known as the "Untitled Beatles Project" now in pre-production. Little is known about the film but what IS known is that Robert Zemeckis will direct and the film will be shot using motion capture computer animation technique (The Polar Express, Jim Carrey in A Xmas Carol). The audition calls for actors who can "embody the physicality and capture the voices of the fab four". NOTE: Since it is motion capture it is NOT NECESSARY to look like the Beatles. Oddly enough the casting directors have asked actors to study and perform scenes from A Hard Day's Night, while stressing they are looking for actors to embody the Beatles from the years 1967-1970. Challenging, but with the motion capture technology...I offer this audition piece. Please, no comments on wigs and or make up (obviously there's no natural resemblance) the studio is looking for actors to drive the computer animation. That's what this is. Hope you will enjoy the show.

  • Actually, VF... The Beatles ARE indeed Irish. Well 3/4 of them anyway. If you're thinking the accents in the video are irish, you're not irish either. But Liverpool, being known as "the closest city to Ireland", has a strain of the accent in the scousers. But just a strain. I'd tell you which members of the Fab Four have Irish roots and which one doesn't, but what fun would that be? Like mom always said, " look it up".

  • THE VOICES ARE GREAT!!!!BUT IT SADDENS ME TO SEE THAT THIS ISNT GOING TO HAPPEN!!! THE ORIGINAL YELLOW SUB CHANGED MY LIFE!!! HOW BAD COULD IT HAVE BEEN? BEATLE SONGS ,GREAT BEATLE SONGS IN THEATER SOUND? THAT ALONE WOULDVE BEEN WORTH THE PRICE OF ADDMISSION! EVEN IF THE MOVIE TURNED OUT SHITTY! UNLESS THEY MADE COVER VERSIONS OF THE TUNES. THAT WOULD SUCK!

  • A+ with the voices!!! To bad it will never be done! :(

  • WOw great job ! :D

  • Hey! The Beatles aren't irish!

  • Great Job!

  • amazing

  • hahahaha, your voices are so funny, it's like the beatles congratulations!!!

  • I agree with the guy below me. Great impressions, but Paul and Ringo were the best. If I closed my eyes, I would have sworn that was Paul.

The scene from Hard Days Night was put together really good. It's incredible how age-ist the original scene was. They basically mock and/or abuse the older guy, treat him like he's not even a person. And I think it was the very first scene in the movie, a strange way to try and get you to like the main characters.

  • You sound more Beatlelestic than the Beatles themselves!!

Hopefully we'll hear more from you in the "Yellow Submarine" remake.
