My pillows never explode into masses of feathers like they seem to do in movies...

The hard knock life reprise may only be 30 seconds long but its my favorite song sung in the orphange

Again, the actor for Annie's voice is beautiful!!! ;)

I like the 1982 version better-it was the one I grew up with- and while it seems to be more historically accurate, this one is more 'proper' if that makes sense- the voices, the gender-race roles, ect.
and I could never understand the words in the 1982 version- now I know the words of all the songs!

i grew up with the original 1982 version, ive never seen this version, but i must say that this scene with sandy is better than 'DUMB DOG' i always felt bad for sandy in that version. as far as the rest of this version, i cannot imagine it beating the original, theres much more theatrics, dancing and drama.

I didn't get to watch the 1982 version until I was in my teen years, and by that time I hadn't seen the 1999 version since it aired on Wonderful World of Disney once upon a time. And when I watched it I was like... Um, okay... I didn't hate it, but I didn't like either. I like this verson because of how close it sticks to the original broadway show. That and Alan Cumming and Kathy Bates are just AWESOME!

THIS. DOG. IS. TOO. CUTE.
Okay, people, "Dumb Dog" was written for the 1982 movie. This is NOT a remake of the 1982 movie. :)
