VICTORIA -- A long line of parcels at the Canada post sorting facility is a result of huge lines at post offices up and down the island, as people scramble to send their gifts in time for Christmas.
While the deadline for sending packages outside the Province and to Europe by regular mail has passed if you want a guaranteed delivery, you have until early next week if you go express post or by courier. But it will cost you.
Canada Post, UPS and Greyhound are just a few of the carriers with several shipping options, and depending on how big the parcel is and where it is going, should determine which carrier you choose.
Meanwhile Canada Post says they will be delivering mail this weekend to keep up with demand.
