And when I got done, Jerry told Chocolate over the microphone what I had asked, and when he got done, I just heard clapping because of the question I asked.
That showed that even 9 years later, Dale is still loved and missed as much as the day this was taped and Dr. Punch choked up talking about Earnhardt as I mentioned earlier.
Im 16 and I will NEVER forget Dale Earnhardt.
He was a true hero to millions of people; young, old, man, or woman.
I met Dr. Jerry Punch a few weeks ago at a Bristol Race Night at the Knoxville Expo Center in Knoxville, TN.
It was Jerry, Chocolate Myers, Trevor Bayne, and Brendan Gaughan.
Towards the end they were letting the fans ask questions.
I was in my Earnhardt hat and my Earnhardt shirt, and I nervously asked Chocolate, "How does it feel to have worked for the best driver in NASCAR history."
if only Richard Petty could jump in the 43 car and show what Nascar use to be like when he was there when Dale Sr. was there

You can tell Jerry is holding back tears.
His voice starts to go out on him a little bit :(
