  • Great interview with Charlie Rose and live version of The Living.

  • Fantastic music on this album but I miss her original lyrics which have always been good. Hopefully she'll put out her next album soon and have original songs and lyrics on it.

  • She reminds me a bit of Kate Wolf in her phrasing and low notes here. Anybody else?

  • Worth looking up the words to this beautiful poem elsewhere on the web. Her new album is amazing.

  • she deserves that and even more!!

  • We need to get Natalie Merchant a grammy!!!!!!!!!!! Buy her new album!

  • Heavenly voice, truly the best. Thank your for all the wonderful years of Joy , Natalie M.

  • She is already a true, living legend.... so poweful & i cant wait 2 c what she does next...One of the GREATS!

  • She is something, loved her hit song way back when but couldn't listen to the other stuff but what a loss that was. But now so I have alot of catching up to do and lucky me its all new!

  • This song grows on you. It's the track in f her BBC interview posted on verdicries. She's so real, hair tied back, little or no makeup, glancing at her songlist after each song, appologetic and then she sings heartfelt songs that are so soulful, resonant, and totaly uniquely styled. I hope she has Erik and Gabriel plug in on the upcoming record. I enjoyed her 1998 interview with Charlie Rose that endears her. So proud of my fellow new yorker with the power to touch the hearts of the world.
