  • If you ever capture one of those underwater targets that seem to keep changing location, you'll generally find that they are pull tabs (or something equally as light in weight). The light weight and large surface area of pull taps causes the scoop turbulance to push them off to a new location everytime you take a scoop. Gold, needless to say, will not move if you miss it on the first scoop or two. If you chase pull tabs, soon you WILL be acting like Rainman, for real....

  • @Kimster805 hahahahahah - Great comments!! very funny... HH!!

  • why are those coins non-redeemable?

  • @RushingPhoenix the bank is only obliged to exchange old coinage (when the king has changed or etc) for a period of 10-15 years after the coins have left circulation (are not valid for use in shops etc).... the coins are shifted every 30 years or so (aprox)... these coins must had been exchanged 31. dec 2010... now there are worthless....

  • If you found a gold ring for every water hunt everyone would be doing it! You always seem so optimistic, don't let a few bad hunts stop you. Patience and persistence is key. By the way if I found 40 gold rings I think I would save the rings and forget about the silver bar. HH

  • @Vidslayer Yeah... one kind of have to be an optimist in this game.. atleast I do.. that silver bar was just to show how I would like to melt down the 40 rings into a 100grams bar once I have found them lol... :) HH!

  • it was time for that brewsky for sure

keep up the beach cleaning...2035 ...wow......keep spinning - GOOD LUCK

  • >:O)

  • Hopefully you get gold on the next hunt!!!!!

  • By the way. Let them think we're idiots! It keeps down the competition. You need to reinforce this image. When you leave the water, limp on one side and mummble nonsense to yourself loud enough for everyone to hear....Rainman style....This does two things: it keeps away the curious; and it makes metal detectorists look like idiots, thereby reducing the competition. "Ummm...metal detecting good...find many pull tabs...want to see my pull tab collection...want to see my toy cars....?"

  • First video of the year! Great! The four pages of comments speak for themselves. You remain very popular, Norway! Great video. Great tour. Looking forward to many more now that the weather is getting warmer. If you keep hunting, there will be gold!!! I've found several gold rings at water's edge here in the USA.

  • The difficult times make the good finds even better, if you ever come over to the UK I could take you to some interesting beaches around Norfolk. Detecting is quiet here at the moment so next week I'm off to Scotland with a sluice box and pan for some gold.

  • Altogether typical, isn't it? Most diggers find a little pocket change, and enjoy some time outdoors. The big finds seem to be just highlights of an otherwise mostly uneventful, though enjoyable, hobby. =^[.]^=

  • What a magnificent video, a tour of Oslo, a ferry ride. A beautiful day detecting. Best wishes and happy hunting.
