Octotron testing Belmont Park Jan 10 11

Update (01/16/11) It's open! Chance spinning ride distilled from previous tracked roller coaster design. It has gentle dips and hill on the go round, but is propelled by center motor. Guests can control the picthing motion. Of note here on the test is the man in the center working on the ride. He has a cardboard box keeping the glare of the sun out of his workspace. His associate is at the normal control panel.

@kkluvsskittles It probably is at this point and with no riders screaming and twirlign their cars. However, last week we could only want for it to open. This is a teaser.

@kkluvsskittles More like a 90 second ride. I rode this ride and honestly, I think the ride is too predictable. You're better off buying a band rather than a $5 ticket for a short ride. I miss the Chaos though. I used to operate the Chaos before they removed it. The random flipping made it fun but on this ride, the flipping is controlled.

YEAH.. I went on it last week and it wasnt as scary as I thought it would be :/ but it was still fun :) there was so many people though... i went on THREE time haha :)

But after that I sick of waiting 10 minutes to get on a 2 1/2 minute ride : /
