SrI Lanka always carried a great history, but Indian attacks always destroyed and damaged it, even Sri Lankan Hisotory re-written by Indians and burnt up the most historic books when we study the history, its easly can be proven.
ravana was a great kind, he does exist ! becase of hindunism related gods and myths... attacks over the Buddhism and Sri Lankan history... , and these all great history changed and hidden.

Ramayana and Mahabharata are Indian versions of Illyad and Odessy. there are no archeologically proven Ramayana sites in Sri Lanka. to lure the ever gullible Indians some tour agents may be spreading this fake information. Ravana tomb at 'gumpha' LOL.

I found some people saying bad about ravana. When Lord shiva asked Viswa Karma to build a place on earth where parvathi want to live and he asked viswa karma to built it very carefully with all the wealth and prosperous region, he built LANKA. For the opening of Lanka trimurthi's planned to invite such a person who is grater than the gods. Then they invite Asura RAVANA for Grand opening.
