  • Men love agoraphobic women. They are easier to control and you don't have to worry about them cheating on you.

  • @attemptingtobehumble He doesn't control me. He didn't even know I was agoraphobic til after we met. Not many men would have stayed. He did and he's still here. :)

  • How does somebody land a spouse if they have agoraphobia?

  • @Roguemember We actually started talking on Myspace. We're from the same town and have mutal friends though so it made it easier.

  • @attemptingtobehumble My boyfriend laughed his butt off when I read this to him. He said if that were true he wouldn't have a problem forcing me to get into the car but the one time he tried (for my own good; I needed to go to the hospital) he ended up with a black eye and peeing blood for a few days. Guaranteed same would happen if he ever tried to mistreat me in the home. Being agoraphobic didn't make me a pansy.

  • @Roguemember Agoraphobic people weren't born that way. I have a boyfriend despite being a homebound agoraphobic. I met him before I got sick and he stuck by me.

  • Thanks for makin this video and all your videos! I just made a video about how to tell someone about your mental illness because i feel alone and really misunderstood. I also was wondering how people with this find a partner because I think it will be hard. You really have to find the right one and it sucks

  • I've watched all your videos, i can't believe how similar our agoraphobia stories are, but I'm way to nervous to be on camera talking about it..

  • thank you for making this video and all your videos for that matter. I suffer from a specific phobia that makes me afraid to go out of the house. I fear that i will get sick in public and get a panic attack. i feel so depressed because i do not understand this and worst of all, i think no one would understand or even want to be around me. my anxiety and depression has isolated me, and I cry all the time, because the fear is consuming. I hope i find my support system as i go through this.

  • Great guy you have there! He seems very laid back which is great for you I bet! I would look forward also to hearing from your mom as you stated she might do a video. I'm probably her age or a little older..? Both of my kids are the exact opposite of you, they are never home so I'd like to get her view on your situation. Thanks for sharing and I'm keeping you all in my prayers for you to get rid of your agoraphobia! Wendy
