This variety, as you can read at 0:05, is called Jala. It's from Jala Valley, it's ancient.
As you can see the weeds on the ground at the begining is oxalis, this indicate a severe washing-up of nutrient in the soil, it can lead to the destructuration of clay. When clay liberate its Al+++ and Fe+++, it intoxicate the soil and then go into the plant, the grain. Food, grain, cattle meat fill with Al+++, so it give neuro-degeneratives issues.
Use 1 ft. of ramial chipped wood to restore the soil.

@teflondon91 No its not. It is a known line breed. People who do GMOs are not interested in making tall stalks. They are more interested in disease and pesticide resistance.

This corn variety Isn't modified, it is an ancient variety from central America that naturally grows to 15-25 feet tall. Today's corn has been modified to be short, and produce smaller more plentiful kernels.

Wow, that looks like it would be a lot of fun to grow. Not to mention walk through.

holy shit! an alien variety!

@aityadeen123 nope.
-
@LaoSoftware it is not GMO
-
@jesseeldrid Very serious depletion of soil nutrients unless the stalks are shredded , composted and dug back in the ground.

Why would anyone want corn that large? It would lay over and it's using all of its energy to grow stalk and not ears.

@joemartin1957 : I always wanted to grow corn because I love eating them. But this guy has the music on. I can't hear anything he said. I wish he turn off the stupid music. Anyway, I think the giant corn is genetically modified. Natural corn don't get that tall. It's against nature. I wouldn't touch it if I were you.
seeds are on Ebay for 2010
