Hallelujah! Last Saturday during the show Cashin' In that aired both on FOX News Channel and FOX Business Network, Cliff Schechter, author of of "The Real McCain" gave as good as he got when confronted by the usual barrage of pro-business blather dished out by regulars Jonathan Hoenig, Jonathan Max Ferris, Wayne Rogers and Tracy Byrnes.
At one point Wayne Rogers called Schechter - a graduate of the Wharton School of Business - an "idiot" so Mr. Schechter returned the favor, calling Rogers a "moron."
Democratic strategist Sasha Burns was also good in this clip, but it's Schechter who steals the show!
Not much solid business discourse, but, boy, it's fun to watch a liberal finally duke it out with these conservative Wall Street types.

Anybody that generalizes a country of people and call them stupid or liars is not a great person themselves

Wow reading most of these comments... they are just rambling on about republicans or democrats saying they know whats wrong and not these guys. and the truth is they would not have made it as far as cliff did.

And finally the point was moot a few months later when gas prices fell around 50% in price.

Then Cliff Schechter mentions college costs going up. Does he not know why? Because of government involvement in the loans and student aid. No cost efficiency. It is a bubble. Next like many of them mentioned is ultimately isn't the point to subsidize to lower costs? Do you really think costs would lower if gov.'t subsidized it? All it would do is allow for more speculators in the market.

@OneVoiceMore He is actually a very good investor and understands markets much better than Cliff Schechter. Although I don't agree with him starting out with the name calling the idea of gov't subsizing gas is moronic. And I think that word had to be used to describe it. Then the lady saying how it is all of a sudden fine if it is a tax break verse a subsidy. Ummm.. A tax break is not taking money away and filtering through a bloated beuracracy. It allows a natural supply and demand curve.

Well, I could care less about the issue here. The fact, observable, is that Wayne Rogers IS a moron. I base this only on his inability to score or win on GAME SHOWS, and the level of his ignorance and inarticulation is epic.
Who the fuck is he again? Oh yeah, the guy from MASH who hasn't worked full-time since then. If FOX is going to use his star status, then his stupidity is fair game.

@rtghffdfdg to make a point, CNN and MSNBC are constantly inviting conservatives on air, they very rarely accept the invitation because they would rather go on FOX and be unchallanged. And calling somebody a moron is fine in my book when that person just called you stupid.
