4:25 (like had happened a million times before and since) Emmo passes the pace car on a restart. Scott Goodyear remains the only driver in history to be penalized by USAC for it though. I love these old 500's but USAC sure screwed up every single one of them...

man i thought emerson was gonna just run away with this one... long race though. i love the sound of these cars cackling on the restart, maybe when we bring the turbos back we'll hear that again, sigh...

These engines are amazing!!!!! Much better than even th indycar engines of the 90s and most definitely todays engines. Maybe we'll get this back in 2011 with the new turbo formula.
