  • That's what I always tell people. Even if you go to someplace where there is no racism, there will be some other type of "ism" of a negative nature. It's the way of the world.

  • Is there any historically Asian university? I like Asian chicks...

  • @hondab118 Which HBCU do you go to? I go to AAMU. (My story is the same)

  • I know exactly what this girl is going through. I'm going through the same thing at the college that I'm at now which is 95% black. I've been in racially mixed schools all of my life until I transferred to a black college last fall after I got my associate's degree. I'm black but it is still a culture shock for me. I may not fit in with a huge majority of the students but I'm gonna try to hold on as long as I can.

  • @MastermindX yeah, in Asia.

  • I don't blame you! Black people are not the friendliest people. I'm black and I transferred from a ghetto community college which 60% of the student body is black. That was an issue for me because like the the lady said, the students there are not approachable, very superficial and it was way too much like high school. I was going to get my associate's from this school however, my second semester, I would be pissed off for no reason I decided to transfer to a BIG TEN SCHOOL! I I am happy now.

  • @MastermindX Go to UCI or UCLA. Their respective nicknames are University of Chinese Immigrants and U C Lots of Asians

  • @Moionfire Why do you think that white people are allowed free tuition in historically black colleges? It may be true some times i9n some places but it is certainly not generally true. Several of the (white) younguns in my family went to such (because nearby for easy commute, also being fairly integrated already race was not a big deal to them) and they had to borrow at exhorbitant rates just like everybody else does.

  • @edlabou

How much does Fox News and the Tea Party pay you to spew out such hate online? Is it per hour or per word pay?

  • This black chick went to a black college expecting some sort of superhuman black activist-type environment and got disappointed...cry me a frickin' river...HBCUs are not much different than any other university with the exception that reputations & the "keeping up with the Jones" mindset is hyper-exaggerated at black colleges.

But you can go to any average mixed-race school and find the same sort of superficial clique-ish nonsense. I found this out from personal experience.

  • @TruthSerum101 I agree. Why is she blaming her experience on the school being black. Maybe the school just didn't have the type of money to help her and other students.

  • @meadowsirl all non-HBCU universities in the USA were historically WHITE. Keep in mind however that whites were NEVER banned from HBCU's even during jim crow.
