@MegaHitman666 Did you know that crucifixion is still used in the Arab world today? As well as stoning and hanging and shooting. The fact is we are not meant to kill, executioners and their families have also suffered. Executioners have turned to drink and other drugs, become depressed and even committed suicide. Human rights organisations try hard, but it depends on whether a country accepts some human rights ratification's. It's gulags they also have to tackle, like China & North Korea.

@8824snipe And also prison in certain ways is a punishment to the prisoner itself. Sorry i couldn't fit it into my last comment.

@8824snipe I agree that some prisons are quite comfortable for the prisoner, but it is standards that we are to look out for, to be humane and civilized in all dealings. But we have a system of ' treating bad behavior ' rather than adding more poison to it with some prisoners in punishments. This way some will become better citizens contributing to society. Prisoners that are beyond help, namely Psychopath killers, must still fall into the band of ' civilized treatment ', it's a rule for ALL.

@66Shellz And what do you suggest that we do with those sick individuals. Put them in prison with no bills to pay and given 3 meals a day, while hard working people are struggling to keep their families together while paying Tax for the prison system. Damn prisoners get treated better than pensioners in the UK.

@8824snipe That is terrible to happen to anyone's children, but the punishment that fits the crime is outdated in areas, namely the death penalty. The people that execute are effected terribly by killing some one sanctioned to legal death, also their families are effected too. So it can not be a discord for ' vengeance ' only . The law itself must remain in higher standards to those that do rape, torture & kill. It is a sad fact that we must live among those that commit terrible crimes.
