Chiapas -- perf'd by Brockton High School Jazz Ensemble (1980)

A piece composed for Stan Kenton by Hank Levy (1927-2001) performed by the Brockton High School Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Vincent Macrina. Featured soloists are Michael Anderson (bass), Paul Weathers (trombone), Tom Murray (soprano sax), Peter Barnes (drums), and me on tenor sax (in a mercifully short solo). Both Paul Weathers and Tom Murray are now professional musicians. See links below:
