my first hot rod was a 68 chevelle 396ss. original motor was gone, built a merlin headed 427, comp mech roller, team G manifold. 4spd, 9'' rear w/4.56s after i killed the 12 bolt. it was gold w/blask top and interior. guys in the Navy with me helped a lot. i was a dumb 19 yr old. a drunk driver t-boned me in 1992, destroyed it. engine and trans are in a friends 68 nova today.

ok thanks, they sounded really good inside the car. Are they tail pipes ran out the back or dumped at the rear axle?
