  • nice one..

  • what's your mix? the half asian looking... u look good...

  • walang kwenta!

  • @nightbird: I TOTALLY agree - right down to your last sentence - we ARE the future!

(It's just that being on the leading edge of anything - bi-raciality included - can get uncomfortable - to put a nice word to it. You know what I mean though.)

  • the bi-racial guy in the film is actually the better looking one of them all.

I'm a white American male but I do understand the point he's making about being put in a box. In America how many Asians do you see in the entertainment industry? Not one single asian heart throb singer/actor to be named. You don't find them on the cover of GQ or Teen magazine. This is a reflection of a deep passive racism that is in our culture that white man may not be able to see but Asians feel it every day.

  • What a wonderful film, but I also would have loved to hear some commentary on the feelings of being bi-racial. Many of us out here are in this group, and while some of us just accept it and realize we are just part of the intricate tapestry that are humans, others struggle, and face discrimination on a daily basis, especially since society likes to place neat little labels on people, and bi-racials can't be easily labeled. However we are growing in numbers, and we truly are the racial future. =)

  • I am half korean half white canadian :)
