Maruti Suzuki to Replace Esteem with Dezire

New Delhi, Jan 8 (ANI): For staunch three-box lovers, Maruti Suzuki is coming up with the new Dezire, the replacement for its long-serving Esteem. With the curtains down on the Esteem after a 14-year long drive, the new offering, Dezire, will have a host of contemporary new features which were otherwise missing in the Esteem and not available in any of the current lot of mid-sized cars. Dezire will sport 1.3 litre petrol and the 1.3 litre DDiS multijet diesel engine.

o@lavakava SO ur telling me that in USA every year a car company changes designs ???? plus they even use new engines right ? Dude get ur numbers straight , GM 's using same 3.8 litre engines for god knows how long , chrysler is using same 3.3 lite engines in their Caravan's , for a decade , and just last year they changed their engine to 4 litres .Plus if u call rebaging a car fresh , u need to know that Buick , chevy , GMC has been sharing the same engines for past 60 years

i like how they just add one or two mini features here and there and re-badge the car and make it look all new. same old body design have been seeing this car since i was a 4 year old.

Indians claim they are so smart, yet the country is so backward and soooo slow in catching up with technology. These Indians need American and Japanese and Euroepan technical expertise because their IIT engineers suck.

What have IIT engineers invented? I don't see anything good in Indian infrastructure: its just a 3rd world cesspool.

14 years for Esteem? lol Another 14 years for Dzire? lol...here in USA, we get new models every fricking year.
