The bottle was filled with a closely stoichiometric ratio of Oxygen and Acetylene. The opposite end of the lamp cord was energized with 15kVAC to initiate the explosion. Extremely dangerous. There are many dangers involved (including static electricity) when performing this experiment; don't try it if you don't know what you're doing.
