this may sound stupid, but the key is relax. you are probably tensioning your fingers too much(at least i did so) and therefore the whistle moves a lot, practise at slow speed until it comes naturally, when you're as relaxed as you should be, you can close your lips losely around the mouthpiece and it will work. hope this helps, if not, you're welcome to ask more questions

I am learning to play the tin whistle, but can't figure out how to hold it in my mouth. Whenever I get the best sound, I pull my lips under my teeth, but then I bite into my lip. could you describe in depth how to position it in your mouth? thanks:)

you can start with a D whistle(all irish music is in d)..i use Generation whistles

its a nice tune. you definatly lose out on the quality of your cameras sound but your playing is brilliant.
my camera is bad, i know :\
