  • thats NOT beethoven! Why are they making him out to be like amadeus?? Beethoven was rude not mean.. and he was strict not eccentric! Immortal beloved with gary oldmen was the closest ive seen to beethoven!

  • Oh please that was nothing like Beethoven either....

  • MANCO THATS NOT TRUE

  • BEETHOVEN WAS NOT LIKE THAT WHY PPL HE WOULD PUNCH YOU :(

  • IRL Beethoven was a complete ass!

  • Beethoven era COMPLETAMENTE SORDO en esa epoca. No tocaba los instrumentos para componer.todo era de cabeza-

  • @marianomanto and i didn't like it either

  • MAKE A NOTE BEETHOVEN DIDNT LIKE THIS MOVIE

  • @antimatterXXXIII E flat major is the relative major of C minor and B flat is the dominant of E flat major.

  • Ya'll... it's a movie, not a documentary. It's like hanging on to a book or a comic before you see the movie. (LOTR would have been pretty lame if Tom Bombadil were still in it.) Let's not get all nit picky about a flick that's probably historically inaccurate... It's 2011 and LVB doesn't care. If you like LVB you'll research his stuff... if not, Ed Harris is still a good actor.

  • ...wtf...why is everyone disagreeing or agreeing with his attitude? All of you have a mind of your own and think deeply how he was and study ten books or more or something to get a good idea of his character!

  • @elias12186 We can't possibly know anything about Beethoven's personal behaviour. We have historical accounts, but those would be biased based on social expectations and personal opinion. Also, many of those were collected decades later in interviews when memories would be muddled by time and grief (of his previous death). So any opinion that even the most knowledgable experts have of him would be skewed and clouded by time and bias. Without video we can't possibly know for sure.
