Sometimes the soul of a dead person has been so tainted with evil that it is denied entrance to heaven. It must endlessly wander the borderlands between worlds, desperately searching for a new body to inhabit.
And sometimes it actually succeeds.
Writer/director David Goyer (Blade: Trinity, The Invisible, Batman Begins) gives a terrifying glimpse into the life of the undead in The Unborn, a supernatural thriller that follows a young woman pulled into a world of nightmares when a demonic spirit haunts her and threatens everyone she loves.
Casey Beldon (Odette Yustman) hated her mother for leaving her as a child. But when inexplicable things start to happen, Casey begins to understand why she left. Plagued by merciless dreams and a tortured ghost that haunts her waking hours, she must turn to the only spiritual advisor, Sendak (Gary Oldman), who can make it stop.
With Sendaks help, Casey uncovers the source of a family curse dating back to Nazi Germany—a creature with the ability to inhabit anyone or anything that is getting stronger with each possession. With the curse unleashed, her only chance at survival is to shut a doorway from beyond our world that has been pried open by someone who was never born.

@4everLivesMJ - the twin brother died but the grandmother had a brother as well, but during WW II, her bro had Nazi experiments performed on him in which he died and was reanimated to become a bridge for the dead to be among the living, but the grandmother killed her brither (2nd time he died) before they could finish and now his "spirit" is haunting the entire family- i dont get the importance of the girls bro tho- i think he might have been killed by the 9 yr old- not sure
The only thing that scared me was the dog with the scary face in the beginning. Oh wait! That's the only part i've seen, i couldnt sleep the whole night then.
this movie made no sense to me..so two twin babys in a womb..one dies...ok so i get a baby died so how is she being haunted by a 9 year old if he died as a baby?...
I absolutely hated this movie. It's just illogical, predictable, and copied various elements from other horror movies. It also had nothing to do with her twin wanting to be born. I was expecting better :(
that looks cool, but WAY freaky. i don't know if i want to see it or not. but the boy in the raincoat is reallllly scary, .......and he has a knife......CREEPY!
i just saw the movie, im like only 13 so please dont be like oh what a baby...but the movie freaked me out.....well to be honest, the only thing that freaked me out was the upside down head, bleh
