This is an ultrasonic sensor from Parallax. It can measure distances from 2 cm to 375 cm practically.

  • hi bro..i have a question..can it detect a moving object parallel to the sensor. as in your video the sensor is moving back and ford perpendicular to the wall. if i passing by the sensor with my hand at the speed of lets say 80 km/h, can it still detect the range of that object?or is it moving to fast for the sensor to pick it up??

  • WHat kind of board do you have it hooked up too?

  • @nomineZERO The sensor's advertised accuracy is to a half of a centimetre, but you might be able to get slightly more accurate results from it.

  • What precision can you get it to? Like in the video you used 1 cm. Can you get to 1mm or maybe even smaler with the same model?
