Resident Evil Archives: Resident Evil on Dolphin Wii/GC Emulator (720p HD)

Resident Evil Archives: Resident Evil running on the dolphin emulator SVN 3908.
The game runs well but has a few graphical bugs but they can be fixed by having optimise quantizers disabled.

The game works great and runs at about 45 to 60FPS for me without fraps recording in the background.

This is a port over from the gamecube version of the game and despite new generation colsoles using 16:9 aspect ratio's, Resident Evil still retains its original 4:3 aspect ratio, unfortunatley.

Yes, i know all i do in the video is run around and die. This is not to show my gaming skills, but to show that it works on the emualtor.

Intel Core2Duo E6400 @ 2.13Ghz
4GB RAM
Geforce 7600GT 256MB Graphics
500GB HDD
Windows XP 32Bit

My settings for the emulator are;
Having dual core and idle skipping on.
To have both optimise quantizes off and progressive scan on.
Graphics I have native resolution off and auto scale on.

dude i just played the original for the ps1 yesterday! and this cutscene looked so shitty before now this makes me want to buy resident evil for the wii!!

One thing i dont get is why does the gamecube version run at 30 fps locked while the wii version runs at 60 fps locked. My gtx 285 runs every other wii game at 60 fps, and even gc games at 60 fps like mgs twin snakes.

the zombies in this version are way stronger than the original on psx. On normal your dead in like 2 bites as to where it would takes 6 or 7 on the original.
