it wont let me connect to telnet 192.168.1.254 what else should i do???

@joelywww Ok that's what I did so I did it again but without switching the modem power off and on and it worked try it it worked for me

@TacoDataBase go to control panel, click programs, turn windows features on/off, then find : telnet client & click the box next to it, restart your computer and try again

When I go run and type in telnet 192.168.1.254 it says could not find 'telnet' help here someone?

If you are having trouble with the run command which will not open Telnet on Windows 7 then you need to do this:
Go to start control panel, Go to programs, where it says Program and Features underneath it click the button that says Turn Windows Features ON or OFF, Scroll down and find Telnet Client and click the box next to it and hit ok.
Then just follow the video above, THUMBS UP
After this it should let you run the telnet run command and then just follow the steps once done reset router!!
