Roxio Toast 9 avchd conversion

Toast 9 can convert your .mts files to ipod , iphone , apple tv , psp , etc... on the fly.

This would normally take imovie08 to get the video into a .mov file to make it workable...

Toast 9 makes this super easy!

@m4cbeth Toast 10 will work and ElGato's new turbo h.264 stick will work too... I use both.

Toast 10 Works too and the NEW ELGATO Turbo 2.64HD stick for mac will also convert mts files directly.

this works on toast 10 also. i found that it helps to have specific SD cards for set cameras ie. i make sure (now) i only use 2 specific SD cards for the Sony AVCHD camcorder and 2 SD cards i use only with my digital camera.

I found out that by swapping them round, somehow they got formatted or mixed up so that i was unable to import directly to imovie.

just a tip :) try to not mix SD cards between AVCHD cams and digital cameras. It seems to confuse the system.

toast is always my backup :)
