F-Zero SNES: Crazy Custom Track

Here's an extremely difficult and narrow course I've put together using the Japanese F-Zero level editor, FUZEE v0.04, complete with all original panels and crazy curves. I also demonstrate various ways to corner them in each lap. First lap is just a parade lap.
As for the track itself, I've actually maxed out the how many unique panels and number of tiles per panel it can handle so no nice Port Town scenery below :(. (Any more and the track becomes corrupted)
This was really just to show that, with some time, you can make smooth curves and all sorts of designs, not just blocky edges. It's also important how you lay down the AI path, especially around a hairpin, and around branches and jump plates. One wrong point and you'd be going in reverse through the rails.

I managed to piece the guard rails together so they fit perfectly around the corners. View the full map here:

How did you make those edges look a lot smoother and similar like the original?

It's really complicated to explain. You enter the wall-editing mode by pressing spacebar and from there you can begin laying out a smooth edge for the track by clicking out the path. You can scroll through variations of the tiles by right-clicking the individual round track edge tiles. Also note that the round tiles can't just be placed anywhere. Two things come to mind when watching this video. 1) I would have shit myself if the game did this to me when I was 8. 2) You Sir, can both design and play the ever-lovin piss out of F-Zero.
