Did I mention that Natalie Maines tried to convince everyone in the USA that she meant her comment in 2003? If you are confused by this, it is because you heard her apology within days of the comment. You might also be aware of her first stateside interview afterward where she said they wouldn't use the stage for their political views and "that's not what I was doing that night" (referring to her London comment). For over a year, she denied in every venue that would have her in the USA. FAIL.
