Oxygen masks are powered by generators. Of course when they become outdated they have to be carefully sealed to prevent accidental ignition while in transit.
Valujet 592 crashed in 1995 because the airline loaded improperly secured oxygen generators.

rien ne se passe au niveau du masque...c'est un placebo ! Il n'y a pas d'oxygène, juste une odeur de vieux caoutchouc qui n'a pas été lavé depuis des années...
