A few pet projects and genetic experiements I play around with in the rat shed. Though they all end up as snake food regardless, I still enjoy playing around with genetics.

  • Hey i was curious how do u keep from getting bit from the snakes when u have the smell of mice and rats on u. Or do u just not mess with the snakes the day u are with the mice and rats?

  • @tsshields51 usually I just wash my hands, and I wont handle SUPER food motivated snakes like the anaconda after being in there.

  • dont try what at home?

  • @1BenFoster reaching into a bin of soft furred rats. They have a reputation as "fluffy chainsaws" and will often tear your to shreds.

  • Those orange mice are so sick! I need some of those guys. I'm finally starting to pop out multi colored piebald mice from scratch. The little things keep me going when nothing too exciting is going on in the snake room!

  • @YoungTierney Exactly! the oranges are some of my favorite too, so pretty. I had a lot more piebalds, but I had them all in one container to selectively breed them further, and the tub flooded! :O so I had to restart the pieds off of like 2 animals.

  • omg you decapitaded a mice and just saids oops and leve him in there

  • you dont happen to have a supper warrior ninja fire delux rat do you?

  • That tailess rat is darling :) It's called Manx if it's genetic, and she looks like it is with the more rounded rump. It's not a simple recessive, so very hard to get. If you manage to get a male like that I know a lot of breeders who would pay a lot for it. And yes, those ASF's are like fluffy chainsaws most of the time! Mine are nice though after 7 generations of breeding for temperament.

  • @ViolentKisses87 is that a joke cuttin up snakes?????

  • They are so cute. I buy snakes usually boa and corn snakes and cut them up to feed to my mice. You know balance out the karma in the world and all.

  • I made african soft furred rat that has really jet black ear.I don't know if thats normal then other breeders rats.

  • @HiImSteveDuh haha fluffy chainsaws

  • Like the vids keep them up:)
