Home made rc catamaran FOX. Boat full made of hard balsa 2%, spruce wood 9% and aircraft plywood 88% - made in Finland. Very light and strong. Solid shaft is located in watertight ball bearings through universal joint to propeller. Is it more efficient than flex shaft.

shaft like I did from brass and aluminum tubes. A holder shafts I've also made and soldered fromof brass.
