This is the High Grade 1/144 0 Raiser from the Gundam 00 series.
It was my first model ever painted and built.

  • I love you. O_O

  • @BlackWallsofWaves Um, thank you?

  • You really have a great dad that spends time with you. I like the model you made, and it reminds me that I'm never too old to play with models, which was my first love as a child. Thanks for the nice trip down memory lane.

  • @88hawaii Thanks and your welcome for the reminder! Glad to see you are back making videos, I thought you disappeared.

  • Looks really really nice I used the same on my 0 Raiser but Tamiya Metallic Blue. I also have the 1/100 No Grade version. Waiting for the 00 Raiser Master Grade to come out not sure if it was announced or not. The Coat looks nice I thought it was pearl at first but I think u said matte clear? Can't wait to see more though! GJ GJ!

  • @mrcapcom That's cool, will have to watch your video of that. The blue is metallic, the white is sort of metallic/pearl looking. Basically it gives a nice shine to the white without being super glossy.

  • @DamienZshadow There are a few tiny things, but not that you can see unless you really inspect it. I was thinking about panel lining this model but opted out. I do however want to do it on other models in the future.

  • @ShaianKurai Thanks! One day we should all put a model together with paint, panel lines, and make it completely crazy.

  • @ShaianKurai Everyone loves the 0-Raiser, it is sleek and cheap lol

I think you did a great job, Brooke. I see no flaws in the paint job from the pictures or the video and it seems like a very even shiny coat. Not bad at all, I've never painted any of my models but if you're going to continue painting you should look into panel lining. It makes all the individual parts pop out.

  • Hey, me a Murat put together that same one, I have it in my room, but I really like how it looks with the shiny paint on it. Nice job! :D
