Yeah, reds are alot hardier than specks or snook- more like a giant croaker. I've never caught reds in deep water like that though.

very nice guys! I too am a fan of circle hooks and I fish offshore Savannah all the time too.
May I ask if you guys are using crabs or live fish? Very nice catches by the way!

We are using dead pogies along with plenty of chum.

Don't you think you should revive your reds better than you do? Just throwing them in the water after a hard fought battle and being out of the water as long as you keep them out spells M-O-R-T-A-L-I-T-Y....

Blah Blah Blah - EVERYONE is a critic these days. If you don't have something nice to say would you please just move on to something else.

I guess I'll have to say it again - Mark is a working charter captain in the waters that we film around - Mark's livelihood depends on plenty of fish for his clients - he also is extremely conservation minded especially with redfish, I myself am a state board member of the Coastal Conservation Association a group dedicated to fishing and redfish in particular. We do not put any of these bull reds at risk of dying and most of the fights are relatively short due to our heavy tackle.
