I made this video three months ago in honor of the 40th Anniversary of Julie, Do Ya Love Me". I hope you enjoy the video. I also want to appolozie for having "You" in the title instead of "Ya".
@authorsdream It wasn't until I had stepped away and he had said Thank You for the third time I might add, that I was able to say the words. LOL Poor Bobby. LOL
@ReviewCam I can honestly say, HE IS a genuinely nice and sincere guy. I had the honor and privilege of meeting him in 2003, something if you told me back when I was younger that I would meet Bobby Sherman, I wouldn't have believed. I can understand your sister's reaction, because a similar thing happened to me. No, I didn't scream, but, I gave him a gift I had brought and when he hugged me and said Thank You, I couldn't speak. I said your welcome in my head, but it never made it out my mouth.
My sister had the biggest crush on him, our bedroom was covered with pictures of Bobby from Tiger Beat. Bobby Sherman was on a local telethon and my sister promised $50 if he would talk to her. He got on the phone and all she did was scream! Dreamy blue eyes, gorgeous looking guy, and he seemed like a genuinely nice and sincere guy.
I remember this song so well because my little sister and I shared a room when this came out. She had pictures and posters of Bobby all over our walls and she played this song everyday because it had her name in it and it made her feel special. Well, my Julie died on May 31, 2010 and now I listen to that song to bring her back again, if only for a minute. Thank you, Bobby, for singing Julie's song and making a little girl feel special Jenni Whitney, Julie's sister
